Bali's water is warm year-round, but the east and west coasts have different seasons. The dry season brings calmer seas and better beach conditions on the west coast.
Season guide
- April–October: dry season, 27–29°C, calm west coast, ideal for swimming and snorkelling.
- November–March: wet season, 27–29°C, west coast can be rough; east coast is calmer.
- July–August: peak tourist season; warm water, dry days, but busiest.
